There is a group of people who are only attracted to the same genders. They still haven’t been completely accepted and approved by society. The world regards them as abnormal; the Bible defines being homosexual as a sin. The homosexuals have been fighting for their right of being treated equally for many years, and so have some others who support and embrace ones who have different sexuality. Their only aspiration is to prove to the world that homosexuality is not a sin. There’s a great deal of factors resulting in homosexuality. And they all demonstrate that there’s nothing wrong with being a gay; instead, it’s just a different way to live a life. First of all, homosexual desire is mostly caused by exoteric factors. A lot of studies on†¦show more content†¦When he gets older, the feeling changes from idolizing to thirsting for being close with men, which means to be attracted to them. The son hopes that having a sexual relationship with a man he perceives to will make him feel whole (Mantyla 2). What’s more, unusual sexual experience may lead to preference to the feeling and behavior of being homosexual. For instance, precocious or excessive masturbation, exposure to pornography in childhood, depersonalized sex, or girls, sexual interaction with adult males (Cameron 13). Besides exoteric factors, biological factors can also incur homosexuality. Above all, it’s already been proved by American Psychiatric Association in 1974 that homosexuality is not a mental disorder (Swidey 15).
